I was intrigued by the ‘gelée’ title of this shower gel, but now I’ve used it I’m guessing it means that it is thicker than the average shower gel. As the gel is thicker, it’s also more concentrated and you’ll be surprised by how little you need to shower with. It produces a nice amount of foam and leaves the skin feeling lovely and soft all day. It has a subtle smell that reminds me of spearmint and whilst I’m not over keen on the smell, I don’t dislike it either. Overall this is a great shower gel and it could be particularly good for people with sensitive skin. I think one bottle would last approx. 4 – 6 weeks with one person using once a day.

Safe to use for all ages including babies and pregnant women.

Julie Carpenter 03/07/07 Before trying the shower gelée, my skin has *always* itched after showering. I have tried everything from homemade hippie calendula salves to steroid cremes without much relief. I bought this for my vegan husband, but tried it after he felt so soft and smelled so good. It really calmed my skin down and made it feel so soft that I barely needed moisturizer. I am sold.
