This is a nice natural alternative to petroleum jelly (you know the one – it’s name starts with a V). This is a translucent fawn colour, with a slightly coarser texture than a petroleum jelly. It has a light, almost ‘medical’ smell (don’t be put off – it smells like it has many healing qualities). It is absorbed well into the skin leaving a good barrier on the skin’s surface. This should be good for all the same things as the petroleum jelly. Yaoh suggest it’s good for damaged, dry, broken skin or for challenging conditions like psoriasis and eczema. We haven’t had cause to try this on any minor burns, we don’t have any makeup to take off and we don’t suffer from nappy rash, so we can’t provide any comment on these uses, but if you do use it please leave a review.
