Not tested on animals. The gift box is made from cardboard and is tied with a raffia bow to give it a nice rustic finish. Please note that the filling will not be red shredded tissue paper as shown, but manilla shredded kraft paper (a similar colour to the box), which also gives a lovely look. It foams as well as our usual shampoo and you only need to use a dollop the size of a 10p as it is quite concentrated. It leaves hair feeling soft and manageable. The bottle lasts about 6 to 8 weeks with one person using once a day. The conditioner has a lovely thick feel to it and you only need a small amount each time you use it. There is a very subtle scent of lavender, but don’t worry, you won’t end up smelling like your gran! It really compliments the shampoo well. The bottle should last a good 3 – 4 months if you it every other day. We also love the fact that both products are made with hemp, which is one of the most versatile plants around; it grows almost anywhere and requires no pesticides or fertiliser. The plant is good both for the soil and the atmosphere. These are UK manufactured products, and are SLS/SLES and SMS and AMS free.
